very demoralized at the moment....cause i just realised that i might have to spend another year in fuckin delta college because im a science major. well the way things work here for a foreign student is that u have to fulfill a certain amount/type of classes thats listed in IGETC which is the fulfillment list to transfer to a UC. the thing is, on top of that, you have to fulfill other classes in order to START your major when u transfer. for most majors, taking the Major related classes will satisfy the IGETC classes as well. UNFORTUNATELY SINCE IM TAKING PHARMACY, IT DOESNT. SO ONTOP OF THE IGETC CLASSES I HAVE TO TAKE, I HAVE TO TAKE 2 MORE CLASSES OF BIO, 1 MORE CLASS OF CALCULAS AND 2 MORE CLASSES OF PHYSICS . the gay thing is, if i was taking something like...sociology for my major, i would be able to transfer to a UC this fall, but now i have to fulfill the igetc classes AS WELL AS ALL THOSE SCIENCE MATH CLASSES.ARRRGH, AND I WOULD HAVE ALMOSTFINISHED MY IGETC CLASSES THIS SEMESTER NOW CAUSE IM TAKING LIKE 7 CLASSES THIS SEM. actually could have taken 8...but i dont think i can handle that kinda stress lol.after all its fuckin university, and i never learned all of this classes before, so no advantage. Im already finishing my IGETC in half the time other people would do it, but the science major thing is a big let down bah. it probably means i have to do the standard 4 year route for my degree.sian. i thought i could do it in 3 la. maybe the UC will let me do the classes there but i rather not waste the money. will be uploading the singapore pics soon!
